It actually does not come to a surprise to me  There are also several fans who are pessimistic about Malaysia's chances, especially when it comes to CPS/GLY's recent poor run of form and KKK/TBH's unreliability. Malaysia can now only depend on MS in mixed team events!
Meanwhile, BAM set a semi-final target simply because they thought they are king of SEA after the Axiata Cup. Now we can see what the Axiata Cup is compared to the real deal.

Now, what are the chances of MAS beating India, Singapore and hongkong to be number 9?

Not planning to go, no mood after 505. After KKK/TBH lost to Taiwan, saw the writing on the wall.
    You are going?

Top 4 teams in the world now: China, Korea, Japan and Taipei.

They are all EAST ASIA countries, and also the only 4 EAST ASIA countries.

The traditional badminton power houses from south eastern Asia countries, can only look for their lost glories in ASEAN games, British Common Wealth games, and Axiata cups.

Malaysia, the Axiata Cup 2013 champion, lost to Taipei and Germany in group.

Please note, Germany won even without its best players Marc Zwiebler and Juliane Schenk.

The level of Axiata must be very low. Not only China, Korea, Japan, Denmark, but also Taipei, Germany, UK,HK, can win the best teams from Axiata.

    He also missed Mongolia

And as much as I respect team TPE, I'd also like to know why he thinks China Taipei deserves a place in his own list if Top 4.

Before Sudirman started, Rashid said 'MAS does not fear CHN' in Star or NST as I read. Actually, Rashid was correct, because MAS got KO and RS knew all along that MAS and CHN would not meet in this SC, so of course no fear lah...darn this RS chap is quite smart you know:D
RS prolly knew with MAS current lineup, and TKH stuck to his a*s sticking with KKK/TBH, this team is not going anywhere, in that photo of KKK/TBH, don't you think KKK/TBH looked tired?
On the bright side, Dato can rest now and play no more in this hopeless SC, since everyone is playing for bridesmaid. CHN already has her name engraved on SC2013 Cup long before SC started.
Dato had done his patriotic part, winning all games. Dato can train and prepare for WC, play with baby and not going to the next round, Dato does not have to reveal his secret kungfu to that CL chap:D
Maybe Dato stay at home and not remain in Putra, just in case Dato may run into that LYB chap and having to explain Dato recent objection to LD getting wild thingie.
So, all ends well...see just when you feel down and out, there is always a positive side to look forward to, MAS Boleh;)

WD played their best - I truly appreciate their effort alone to win the game and save MAS face after XD lost. Must be stressful for the gals because the MAS team chance to scrape by was on their shoulders.

    Thai GPG next..

Only have a good chance over Singapore, will have close match of either 3:2 or even 2:3 against India and hongkong.

ok.. lets see which official will be the first to say ' well sudirman cup was not one of our main target this year anyway'..

malaysian badminton team is already haemorrhaging much national support before.. now there will be even more people abandoning all care and support for them.. that is the real loss right there.. local relevance.. soon there will be none

Sad to see how poorly MAS team performed in Sudirman Cup. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I'm sad and relieved at the same.

Hello to all badminton fans, I'm new :D
