You've a point there. Possibly, WYH might be fielded against Sung JH for psychological effect when we take into account that sensational come-from-behind win over SJH in the Uber Cup that could still be a demon haunting the latter. For MD, agree with the choice of Liu/Qiu or even CB/HW but the former is a safer bet having already gained some experience playing IND.

If the order of play is again XD, MS, MD, WS, WD, then it's good for KOR who have reasonable chances in XD and MD and then WS could be 50-50 in view of the substantial increase in pressure on CHN.

Yup, I think you'll be right with this lineup. I want to see WYH play. It's time to let the cat out of the bag. :D

It's just a template. That doesn't mean anything until it's filled. Kim Ha Na to play WD then XD immediately? Come on, think about it

This is just a standard template (temporary); once the line-up is submitted and if there's ANY player of either team plays in BOTH XD and double (MD or WD) then the Order of play will be: 1.XD 2.MS 3.MD 4.WS 5.WD
And i notice this is the most common Order of play among the level 1 in 2013 SC.

I think maybe that's how LYB shows his trust in senior players who have brought great glory to the team. Not only give young people opportunities but also keep the seniors' spirits high. I think he has confidence in the whole team, although he knows better than anybody else whether Fu and Cai are in their best form.

Or could possibly have completely the opposite effect. I don't think he'll play WYH because you'll never know what'll happen psychologically.

Of course, the one on the left is none other than the beauty Wang Yihan. The one in the centre is another of Xie Xingfang's bridesmaids who is her personal friend whose name I cannot recall (it should have been mentioned on Lin Dan's thread), not a badminton player I think.

Thanks for the link, very interesting interview. Good to see LYB putting his faith in Fu/Cai even though they lost 2 matches in the tournament. As would be expected, Fu/Cai lacked the speed & sharpness due recent recovery from injuries and inadequate match exposure (hence, any match would be good exposure for them hereon). China's victory was basically secured after the 1st mixed double win by ZN/ZYL. He also anticipated the display of Jorgensen coming into the game against Chen Long as an underdog with little to lose & everything to fight for. But Chen Long proved his strength and mettle in the end. I personally suspect LYB was quietly confident of the result tonight and therefore played Fu/Cai anyway; maybe for the sake of acquiring match fitness/readiness.
