What an upset by Tommy Sugiarto! Everyone has written him off in this match.

 

Nicely done by Tommy...remembered when he was so downcast after the loss on Sudirman Cup QF (he thought for sure he can drag CL to rubber before CL changed pace and beat him on straight set).

 

That's quite the upset, nice to see some competition for the pretender to the throne

Last time, Chen Long lost to Kashyap parupalli in the second round..

 

only 3 chinese player have win this ms title in 1985,87,89
chinese ms player are still need a lot of work for their fourth title

 

I think this was a bigger upset. Boe/Mogenson aren't the most consistent pair but CL is.

Wow, I am surprised with Tommy Sugiarto. After his early lost last week, I thought it's gonna be his first round exit again, but then again he proved me wrong.

Imagine if Tommy did that in Sudirman Cup QF, then China would be lost 0-3 to INA.. LOL

Ahsan/Hendra are in trouble, while Della/Anneke won 9 straight points to take the lead from No 1 Thai WD.. And the girls take the first set..
