Xing Aiying was holding a slim lead throughout most of G1 before conceding the set, no finishing power. Let's see if G2 is any different.
I think lately NTM's stamina isn't as good as before, esp against much younger players. A sign that age is catching up?
NTM levels up in G2 but a 3-setter can be somewhat physically demanding for him, esp for his type of attritional game.
Looks like Hu Yun at age 31/32 is more likely to succumb to the age factor than Nguyen Tien Minh who still is the Viet Warrior that he is (hope I didn't speak too soon).

Pretty tough test for Tommy at opening round, tomorrow Wang Zhengming will be his opponent, good luck
Going by the score, the most lop-sided match was the one between Sun Yu and Yui Hashimoto, 21-9 and 21-5 in 33 mins won by the former, both lowly ranked players. Wonder how Sun Yu will fare against stalwart Soldier Schenk next round. Frankly, I doubt she can survive beyond that.
