    Men's Singles Day 4

Players who lost not due to skills, but fitness:

Ajay Jayaram: had a 3set first round match against Wong Wing Ki but prevailed 22-20, 17-21, 21-15.
However against Pablo Abian in the 2nd round, with a scoreline of 21-9, and 21-17, just says it all. Also add in a little underestimation of Pablo is a recipe for disaster.

Takuma 21-1913-2121-7 lost to Du Pengyu. This youngster
pounding with everything they have in the first game, leaving no petrol fuel for later. Need more experience.

    Players who underwent tough matches:

Du Pengyu, 3sets against Shon Wan Ho, against Tanongsak (what happen to Tanongsak in 1st game, 5-21? common..), against Takuma Ueda.. don't know if it's Du's unfortunate draw, or perhaps, Du really is a 3 game-nut.

Jan Jorgensen: 3 sets against Lee Dong Keun, Chou Tien Chen & Boonsak. Skill-wise, he is better than Nguyen, but does he have petrol fuel left for tomorrow, as Nguyen is a 2.5cc car.

Players who had relatively easy matches:

Lin Dan - no need to say, nothing to say. Skill-wise, talent-wise still have the 'it'.

Nguyen - relatively easy, perhaps a little more 'coal' needed against Pablo, but just a little.

P Kashyap - this fella should really take the opportunity to play hard against Du tomorrow. He just might be famous for making quarter final. First round against Raul
19-2121-1421-9 due to slow starting. Second round
received walkover from Czech Koukal in 2nd game.

Most improved player recently: Tommy Sugiarto.

Most deteriorated player: Sony [ s'pore's Derek Wong finishes him in straights, and then Derek loses to Daren in straights, goes to show what is Sony's level now]

Now guess if tomorrow's LD-CL is an all-out fight? No need to crack your heads. Let it be and see.

    My suggestion:

A: Yes, there will be a walkover.
B: No, but the whole thing will be a charade and will be over in less than 30 minutes.
C: No, there will only be 2 games.
D: No, there will be 3 games.
E: No, they will fight to their death.

Kudos to the organizers to play LD vs CL in the 2nd match to minimize any manipulation by CHN.

I was kinda hoping this result. As i said at the beginning of the tournament, that if both meet each other, it should be a mouthwatering match. Sindhu could beat Yihan, if she could learn from the unforced errors she did in their previous encounter, which ideally Sindhu should have won. Great to see this result.

    1. LD vs CL winner LD
    2. NTM vs JOJ winner JOJ
    3. LCW vs TS winner LCW
    4. DP vs KP winner DP

CL will be instructed to LET LD wins in Straight sets.

WS final will most probably PV Sindhu vs Ratchanok Intanon with PS obliterating WS and LX.
