    There are many, many, many talented players in China, especially in women singles. They just don't have opportunities to play. If they all flooded the international tournaments, then only very few non-chinese would have a chance to be qualified in Super Series.

    Just before 2012 Oplympics, China allowed a little bit more players to play international tournaments, then quickly, there were so many Chinese females in the ranking list:

    Wang Yi han;
    Wang Shi xian;
    Wang Xin;
    Jiang Yan jiao;
    Liu Xin;
    Li Xuerui;
    Chen Xiao Jia;
    Wang Lin;
    Lu Lan;
    Han Li;
    Zhou Hui;
    ...
    Why at that time, so many women singles from China? That's all about POLITICS.

    Usually, it's comprise and mutual agreement between LYB and WS coaches which mostly from Jiangsu. Since LYB named his prodigy Zhang Ning as the head coach in WS, then the previous balance's broken.

    China team only needs 3 or 4 players, that the reason when 4 players are chosen, the rest people's career for international playing has to be ended. Where's Chen Xiao Jia, Liu Xin today?

    Don't think this is the reason for her performance.
    She is simply overweight and sluggish. The power and accuracy in her smashes has also disappeared.
    It is good Sindhu is doing better than Saina now as this is the kick in the butt Saina needs.

    Based on BWF database, they've played once at Yonex Sunrise India Open 2013
    And Ratchanok won in straight set 21-12, 21-6

    Never seen sindhu played before, but since she has been able to best 2 Chinese top players in 2 sets, she must be on fire

    I adore Carolina Marin and don't mind her shrieking at all. It only grates when the player screams with the objective of getting the opponent riled up or to be obnoxious. Carolina's shrieks seem like a natural reaction of triumph at winning rallies, so I don't mind her being human.

    Just imagine how wonderful it would be for the sport if even a fraction of the die-hards of soccer in Spain got behind badminton, too. Oh, if only both Intanon and Carolina could have gotten through to tomorrow!

    Let's hope we can all see Inthanon's smile when she lifts the trophy on Sunday.

    Wow it's been 10:23 in guangzhou and the 9th match has even yet to be wrapped up. Feel sorry for the winner of AngRy vs BoeCars, it would hinder their physical recovery for tom's match vs kim2
