Thailand is doing a great great regeneration. Indonesia's PBSI must learn from them. Much much to learn especially for WS. We Indonesian are still waiting for a next Susi Susanti Next up, Towi/Butet. Indonesia!!! ba dum ba dum dum!!!
Juliane Schenk was right. Before the WC she touted RI as the favorite to beat the Chinese! Today her dream has been realized.
God I love badminton... So happy for Ratchanok. Such a talented, polite and inspirational player. She really deserved this. I'm a big fan of Li Xuerui too, so it was a dream final. Womens Singles is looking in great shape. So many talented young players - really exciting!
I heard about this comment on the GDTV. What an unprofessional comment! Obviously, these commentators are pro-CHN.
Correction, youngest WS was Han Aiping who won in 1979 as the age of 17 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1979_WBF_World_Championships
The worst showing for Team CHN in recent years. Hope LXR learn something valuable from this defeat and become more determined and come back stronger in future. She is still young and talented and many more years ahead.
Sindhu tweeted yesterday to ratchanok after losing and wished her to get gold medal so that she won't regret.. Ratchanok made it.. Marvellous performance..
Ratchanok, Sindhu, Carolina, Bae Yong Ju, and many more. China is clearly losing the domination they usually have on WS. This is a very good sign indeed. Now, give me your voices, Indonesian IN-DO-NE-SIA!!! ba dum ba dum dum!!!
Agree. Sleeping/slackening for too long and enjoying too much after Olympics. Most of the players have gone downhill. RI has improved tremendously and too many unforced errors from LXR, resulting in the loss of G1, when she was leading at 19-12. Judging from the current standard of the China women team, there is a great possibility that they might not be able to retain their Uber cup next year. LCW has a high chance of getting the title today.
Wow, I normally hate watching womens' singles but that was one of those matches where you'll be saying "I watched Inthanon win the WC back in 2012" I'm really lost for words. I had tears in my eyes when she won.
