I guess we will find out in the next two weeks what their direction is. I can't imagine they will be paired together again.

KKK and TBH should retire and as they had flourished very early in their career when they had
speed and power but the game now is speed, power and intelligence - they have no game
intelligence - like BOMO, AHSAN/SETIAWAN etc.

u guys dont know how hard they trained and how much pressure they got, so noone should judge them.... u know what is the biggest factor why they have so much pressure and lost the game?? is because all u guys give them negative feedbacks instead of giving them positive ones. Even lcw said the same thing before. how come no1 hates lcw when he loses the game, but every1 hates kkk and tbh when they lose???

    hahaha

    bro,
see what LCW play and see how his way to lose...
he lost with fighting spirit and never blame fans or media
he return n try again with huge or double training effort...see his body and playing determination..

see KKK way of playing...no strategic and getting worse n worse...school boy style of playing
the way he lost his game was a joke..nothing but joker play...fancy play...this is not circus show
he blame who when he lost?
wat effort did he done after the lost? bigger tummy or fitter? his tummy is bigger than us
do the coach watching his diet n did he putting double effort to trim down n build himself life LCW?
did he play with determination ? too bad I see none.
so its time to go even the coach is asking him to stay.

my question is do BAM coach got guts to sack them
who is the next pair to take over? do coach worry on his own rice bowl if kkk was sack?

I was in Malaysia today, reading the Sunday Malaysian newspaper
and it talks about Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong, either being dropped or splitting them and pairing with new younger players. Dropping the pair is not what I would personally prefer because, they are great players.

I have to admit their performance has decreased over the years, this could be physiological or whatever because you don't see the same Kien Keat, you would see a few years back.

question : how long have you followed this pair for their games? i suggest you may try to search on youtube, look for their old game either AE 2007 or WC 2009 and compared their games from the latest one, WC 2013. Then only you will know how worst they are. this pair once become my inspiring pair especially kkk

I think KKK/TBH problem started when they have an argument back then after AE if I'm not mistaken. It was quite serious and after that, they never re bounce... During those times, they were the underdogs and able to beat pairs like CY/FHF, BOMO, LYD/JJS, MK/HS... but now??? Not a single korean pair even the pairing is Korea's second or third pair...

Look at CY/FHF and BOMO... they can perform even until recently.... LYD/JJS was the top pair when JJS retired... MK/HS split up and now HS/Ahsan is of the most promising top pair. And along the way, we can see uprising pairs from Thailand, Korea (Kim/Kim, LYD/KSH), China, Indo... And what about KKK/TBH? Getting worse and worse...

They should have split them earlier....

It was widely discussed in this forum that it would be better to split them. BAM said one last chance....

I suspect it was the semifinal appearance in Olympic Games that convinced BAM of one last try...

BAM has soft heart (while they are harsh on good coaches) when comes to them ... always give them one last chance after one last chance... until now, I think it is a bit too late... They are now demotivated... unlike Hendrawan who is the motivated one to motivate Ahsan to rise up again. I think they need the junior to motivate them instead.

If you read our Msia newspaper... BAM still undecided or need to meet to decide their fate... I thought splitting is already the ultimate decision??? Sigh...

I haven't been able to read the newspapers but it seems BAM are now trapped. It doesn't surprise me that they will reconsider keeping the pairing.

On one hand, KKK/TBH are the best MAS pairing (but how big is that margin?)

Splitting them may risk losing their services. But then BAM may be able to concentrate better on the people who are remaining.

Keeping them only produces mediocre results - last 16 last 8 and occasional semifinal appearances. It changes nothing.
There are very few pairs who last the number of years that these two have had together. The stale relationship is the real problem. Motivation gets better when people are learning new things and new partners with active discussion.

Why BAM dares to change coaches but dare not with players?

Split or stay... All depends on koo and tan not BAM or coaches!

if u split them unwillingly... New partnership will not blblossoming

if they decided to stay and not producing result, their ranking will drop and eventually affect their income too...

I think it's best let them stay together and let them decide how much they wanna earn...

by spending term and resources on KKK/TBH, what is the ultimate goal?
2016 OG? KKK will be 30 years old...TBH 27? can still fight?
why not BAM focus on 2020 OG and beyond as well....

Instead of splitting, KKK/TBH should play for the USA and help to raise the game there
or nearer to home, play for Singapore.
The change of scenario will boost their game and earn them good money.
