poor fellows they dont even look at each other now, see what have you guys done, by calling them boyfriend-girlfriend ;)
And it was a condition for SN to join back Gopi, that she would only focus on badminton :)

So two teams get relegated and do not qualify. One of the teams has Jwala Gutta as the star player and the other team would have qualified if it were not for Jwala Gutta moaning and refusing to play against, therefore them having to change to a weaker team line up!

Well done Jwala the stand out player of the league:rolleyes:

Seems that the rules in IBL are evolving as the tournament progresses, which gave both teams the opportunity to "challenge and sit-out" the tie if they are not "happy. So, I don't think any player or team can be faulted they felt short-changed and refused to play.
Personally, I felt the IBL is more interesting as compared to the China League and the Indonesia "Team Event" (sorry, can't remember the name and lazy to search ;)), because there are more international stars competing against each other, and first time seeing LCW & Tine playing competitive game as a XD pairing :cool:).

But one thing I am still curious how they decide the SF competing teams because in SF, we have HH vs PP, and AW vs MM)

But my above queries are secondary. IBL only needs to know is you have got me interested to watch the Live IBL matches even though most matches starts at 1030pm and ends way past my bedtime.
Well done IBL and India Badminton. :)

It seems like next year two more teams gonna come in addition to the existing six teams. So, further 8 foreign players and many reserved players as well. Hence, it will be much more interesting to watch and more players get the benefits (in terms of money and experience).

Hopefully, the second edition would surpass the current edition in terms of number of viewers, sponsors , number of players and 'controversies' as well.;)

IBL is interesting and I see the crowd are supportive too. With such a big crowd, no reason why IBL2 should not be continue. Of cause there are weaknesses that are very apparent, hopefully they learn from here and move on.

One thing I agree with datuklee is that IBL is better because of the schedule. Fans still remember what happen within the 3weeks of competition instead of 6 months of start stop league which most friend don't remember what happen long time ago...

Well, when I take a look at the results and at the table I have to say that the teams are very balanced and there is in my opinion no "over powered" team. That makes the matches very interesting.
And nice to see matches like LCW and Tine Baun are playing mixed together :)
(Have anyone of you ever heard something about a player called Carston Mogensen? :D )

Prediction : PP will upset HH 3-2

I see in my crystal ball 2 most likely scenarios:
It will be either touch and go and early night with HH whitewashing PP 3-0
Or it will go down the wire with PP scraping thru 3-2
IMHO, confirmed wins are MD for HH and Ponoppa Mixed D for PP
In form Tanongsak should get a point for HH even if he plays Nguyen.
I see Schenck overcoming Saina this time though Saina should start as favorite with home advantage. If PP plays Nguyen against Ajay, he should overcome Ajay this time. So really the may be decided by Schenk and Nguyen who lost before to the same players.
My prediction is PP to upset HH 3-2
(I think most neutrals like me would prefer that it goes down to nail biting finish rather than early night ) :)

Who knows? Pune pistons should just demand that no foreigners should be allowed to play tonight or Pune will do a walk out. The lawless IBL will just be like meh... sort it out yourselfs. Hyderabad being the home team can't let the local fans down so would have to adhere.
