Don't compare INA with China..if web cheat, we will ask Ronald/ selvanus to WO...after Japan Open , Hendra did not feel well and we did ask him to play their best...even they had 3 sets in early round...well..shame on china on their records of WO...

At least in INA Open, we did not WO or easy games on compatriots...I think China should learn from INA ...

I have a feeling some skirmish squad from Ji-Yo- brigade will come. Let's wait-n-see.

World Championships is already long ago. Blame it on the aftermath of WC. When someone accomplished a big target, they deserve big break but big break will not make it easy to be in form again.

Anyway, I believe that many of INA MD pairs are almost equally good with the current World Champ. It is just lack of experience, especially when playing with other countries.

I hope Berry/Ricky will win this.

My prediction is Markis/Marcus will be in the final. They will put up good fight too.

Indeed. Well Said. I don't think Ashan/Hendra deliberately lost to their compatriots. I have watched the live scores at that time. They were 4-11 down in the rubber and if they wanted to lose deliberately, they could have lost with that kind of scores. But they fought well to reach 18-19 at last but it was too late .:)

No surprise in MS category as expected 4 INA main players secured 4 semifinal spots, will both Tommy and Hayom win over their senior compatriot, Simon and Sony respectively?

It will be old timers final - SS vs SDK with SDK winning and proving he's still the best in
    Indonesia when fit.

Sony may take a rest and may withdraw from next tournaments as he got injured on his ankle after grueling match with Supanyu

So Simon won his match with Tommy eh? Wonder if he has the stamina left for his match tomorrow...At least compared to Rumbaka.

RA/SG showed their win over MA/HS seeded 1 was no fluke and they repeated their winning performance with a straight set win over GMF/MK in the SF. TS lost in 3 games to the old gun SS and unfortunately SDK another old gun gave a walkover to DHR and so it's any body's guess who would prevail in an encounter between the two. As it is, it is still an old gun versus a young one in the MS final. Indonesia are assured of 3 titles in the MS, MD and XD and China 2 as their players will play each other in the WS and WD finals. China again show their depth in badminton with their players reaching finals after finals in most BWF-sanctioned tournaments.

Well, for whatever reason there are two walkovers among INA players in the SF.

So we should not readily criticize other countries which also gave walkovers in the past.

It was revealed that SK had injured himself and I'm sure the tournament doctor would have concurred and allowed the w.o. Indeed players can injure themselves during tough matches especially when they are already too tired. To press on despite injury and fatigue is taking unnecessary risk and can jeopardize the players' career.
