Quick question about the Revelation. Is the woven pattern on the Revelation painted on? Or does it actually reveal the carbon fiber underneath? I'm asking because the pattern at the top of mine looks inconsistent and streaked. Thanks!

The Revelation is 100% woven carbon fiber, not painted on.

If the carbon fiber was painted on, it would not be woven carbon fiber at all.

When you say "inconsistent" and "streaked", what do you mean? Please e-mail me an image, thanks.

    Come at me, bros;)

Ordering open for UK/EU buyers. Three in already, and I'll probably be getting half a dozen or so.

Email or PM to order or for details:).

I like the one by Adam Hawker best, when I first saw it I envisioned it as matte black.I'm not attracted to the glossy/shiny rackets anymore. I remember getting a new Victor racket that was shiny and I was a little disappointed because the pictures made it seem like it was matte.

Anyway, may I suggest that regardless of the color of the racket, could there be a matte and glossy finish? When I refer to matte, the VT80PG is a good example, since it's not completely matte, but definitely not glossy.

Phaaam: ALL the Panda Power rackets have been designed by Adam Hawker since day one with a little Panda input. :)

Haha, I misinterpreted your post as a community design submission, my mistake. Well then, great designs Adam Hawker (and Panda)!

One more thing I like to add, the gold highlights go really well with black. Maybe a bit more gold in the head by making the lines in the 3 and 9 o'clock areas ~1-2mm thicker.

    Seems very unlikely...

What I always wanted was to do a racquet using just a single color, and nothing else - but with a glossy design on a matte background.

That kind of effect would look great IMO, either with something very minimalist or something very fancy (eg. like you see on the karakal tattoo racquets).
All-black would be great for a hard-hitting offensive racquet, and all-white for a superlight defensive racquet.

Anyway, it can't be done apparently, so we can forget that idea :(

Meanwhile, I'm still rooting for purple & gold.

^ Purple and gold on black! Like the ZF Olympic edition but with black instead of white. :D

that's very popular with bikes now. many bike manufacturers are releasing matt black bikes with minimal glossy black logo.

being an ectomorph is both a blessing and a curse. i can out run and out bike a lot of people, esp on uphill, i can eat as much as i like without gaining any weight. but at the same time, i cannot smash anything decent for the life of me. well i can, but requires a full blown smash while others can hit harder with just a flick of the wrist/arm.

^ Lol... then you're like NTM ( Nguyen Tien Minh), who never smashes but just outlasts his opponents on court in marathon matches. :)

He smashes. He just doesn't get anywhere with it - at all :D Also, his problem isn't any aspect of his physicality, but his rather bad technique (for a world class player, that is).

kwun, you should maybe try some strength/conditioning exercises - biking and running all day won't help your upper body strength! ;)

TMN does smash... but they're never winners. He's a bit like Septano, actually:).

Current go-to racket is a Kason F9. Interested in either a PP Revelation or PP Precision. How do these 2 racquets compare to the F9? I'm normally more attracted to more flexible rackets as I don't have the snap or whip to fully utilize stiff to extra stiff racquets.

I'm thinking a 85g 290mm Precision may offer a nice balance between back court power and speed at the front. But then again a 85g 295mm Revelation may do those things well too (but may be a tad too stiff for me)
