This is SJH's first win against SN. She has beaten all the top players at least once, barring LXR. Let's see if she could beet LXR tomorrow in their semi final clash (I don't thing WSX will be able to beat LXR in other QF)
That was a quick and demoralizing first-half of the third-set for the Japanese as the INA pair finally waking from their slumber. Hendra/Ahsan were so quick and up by 7 pts now.
omg how f boring the rallies are between HS/MA and HH/NH. God good, Koo/Tan vs. Yoo/Lee will start soon
So, the World Champions wrapped it up in 3-sets: 18-21, 21-17, 21-13. They shouldn't have lost the first-set.
Personally I thought Hendra/Ahsan did not play very well today... quite a fair bit of errors in their game.. not as lethal as before... Too bad the Japanese could not up their game and leverage on this... their loss (figuratively and literally speaking)
ahahaha.. me too. But to be honest as long as ahsan or hendra playing well with less unforced errors they still hard to beat. In the 3rd game, the made less errors and quickly ending the game.
I seldom watch HS/MA matches nowadays. They are too strong and the rallies are very short. The outcome is so predictable.
hello 42min for three sets. Come on!!! This art of game destroys what we (at least I) love about doubles. Jap vs. Ind the worst game I´ve seen ever. Sad, very sad imho.
Hendra in particular was sleep walking almost the entire match. Look at how many service to the net he made in the first two sets. Not to mention the long return and other errors.
WD between Kor and Jap going towards the 80min mark. That´s entertaining Badminton (if they doing more than clearing ) Kakiiwa/Maeda win over Jang/Kim 22:20 in the third set.
Agree. His game was quite off today .. especially the smash which went way wide of the sidelines. His body language does not seem to be very positive. IMO, he appears to be quite subdued today
Yeap. Really miss the old style of MD play where players rally each other. You get to see awesome defence, raining attack, amazing dives, great movement around court and not forgetting the way each pair fights to outplay the other. This is how epic matches are born and will be remembered for a long time. For the audience, there's thrill, excitement and entertainment all packed in one match. Great stuff! Well now, MD style of play is getting faster and quicker. I guess the idea is to keep play short and kill the shot as fast as possible.. Also begin to see more fast, flat play over the net and players twisting their bodies in awkward position to return the shot. I guess it is a more efficient way to win points but not so entertaining for the audience...
