Street price maybe. The MSRP is 240$, just like the TK8000 so you should expect similar prices (around 210-220$ in store) Also, the MX90s are expected at least in a couple weeks, they are on the next shipment to Victor Canada. BS LHI and BS-12L should arrive in a couple days.
If the MX90 has a price tag of £120 like the MX80, I will be so sold. I currently own a NS9900 which is an amazing racket but I may be selling it as I have a potential buyer.
Notorious I expect you will be pretty close to the mark. Not envisaging any major price increases. I know Thruster 6000 is due in 2 weeks but I do not have a date for MX90. Sorry. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Like I said, look at the price of the TK8000 where you are, and that is going to be the price of the MX90. The Wholesale and MSRP are the same.
TK8000 is currently selling in UK for around £125 so that's fine with me. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Now I'm broke, cause I bought 2 MX80 this month. Well, I think I will stock up my MX80's to 4 this year. I have the feeling that the 90 is just a newer MXJJS, MX70 or MXLondon. Nothing special at all.
So, I've been interested in the JJS since there have been many good reviews on it, namely Paul's and informally kwun's, and also because I've had great experiences over the past 2 yrs with my MX80/70 and RKEP XP60/70 which are based on the MX and BS frames which are both powerful and fast. With the upcoming soon to be released MX90 rated 4/5 stiff and HH by Victor, many including myself, have been left wondering if it is the same model as JJS that has been repainted. Well, I've done some scouring around and can tell you that kwun is right... it will be a different beast... with emphasis on beast, as it'll have stiffness in between MX80 and MX70! Here, at the Australian Victor website, http://au.victorsport.com/product_li...type=1&pid=759 we can see the stiffness ratings as follows: MX80> MX90> MX70> MXJJS> MX60> MX30 So, anyone looking to get the JJS better get it soon before it runs out of stock as it'll be discontinued. (I know this is a repost from the JJS thread, but I felt it was important for subscribers to both threads.)
Other than ucantseeme , not too many of us are looking forward to a sub MX80 sub super stiff racket...
I'm also enjoying the 3UG5 MX80 (my second tier racket after the 3UG5 Z-Force). I was very close to purchasing the MX-JJS, but realised that all the relatively "high powered" reviewers either mentioned the MX80 was also a really good racket, or have not been able to comment on it much (ie. Paul Stewart). I think as long as you are relatively fit (and young hehe) and are at an "Advanced" level, the MX80 is just as good, if not better than the MX-JJS. Just speculation on my part of course.
Damn... This is not easy... I was waiting for the MX90 but since it seems to get delayed all the time I thought I'd try the MX JJS while waiting. Now I really like the MX JJS, but if the MX90 is marginally less stiff and has same BP, I'm soo not sure what to go for.
Repost from JJS thread. Does look like MX90 may be less stiff but head heavier than JJS, if these charts are correct. Found the racket mapping ie matrix from Victor TW and AU respectively. Combining the two, looks like stiffness ratings are: 30 <60 <70 <90 <JJS <80
