Without Lee Chong Wei, the MAS players (Liew Daren, Chong Wei Feng, Hoon Thien How/Tan Wee Kiong & Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying) still able to play well and advanced to quarterfinals...

Only Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong lost is unacceptable...haiz...

They just reached the QF stage. Let's wait until they reached finals or won some titles.

That's different. His wife is his XD partner. Unlike others who need to take time off from badminton court so be their wifes' servant.

hmm.... after the R16, only Sony, and Owi/Butet remain... :( The evidence is lacking on some saying that now is the rise of the Giant Indonesia badminton supremacy. We are not there yet.

Cheers to Liew Daren, Chong Wei Feng and HTH/TWK for prevailing against fancied opponents and moving on to the QF stage.
HTH/TWK have again played the bogeymen to the formidable Koreans and the pair this time round was KSH/SBC. Will they prevail against the towering Russians VI/IS who shoved aside KKK/TBH (S5) in two easy games?
CWF was just fantastic beating Tian Houwei and Liew Daren scrapped past Takuma Ueda. CWF will play against SDK today and his match should be easier than Liew Daren’s encounter against Chen Long (S2). Hopefully, these two Malaysians will deliver again.
