Hawk eye system is no good for badminton because the shuttle is not a round object. Also it is only a computer calculated trajectory and has a margin of error so it's not 100% perfect either ...

I thought BWF would do a re-draw after Group Stage is over. I guess they haven't learned from the debacle in London.

If there is a re-draw, why would the player want to top their group? in return of topping the group you might face another group champion =.=!!

    Who are "they" ?

BWF will do re-draw. Yu Yang is smarter now, she does not have to play 100% but she can "escape" being punished.

    Hey guys,

I have just had some free time to watch some matches at this time. Has there been any replay challenges this tournament yet?

Compared to how she played yesterday, Saina was like a completely different player today.

So, if Mitani loses in two straight to LXR (and in all likelihood, she will), who makes it through - BYJ or Saina?

It seems like Saina played well today.. Won it in 3 games..

So, BYJ, Mitani and Saina all the three have 1 points. Now we have to see the outcome of Li xuerui vs Mitani .

If Li xuerui wins it in straight games or else in 3 games, then the comparison occurs.

In the comparison, all the 3 shuttlers apart from Li xuerui would have 3 games in their credit. Then, number of points will be calculated which is in favour of Saina. i mean that the most number of points scored by them.

    LCW takes G1 23 - 21 against JOJ.
Let's see if JOJ can go the speed from G1 in G2, too.
Or is it LCW who will switch a gear up?

Even Saina has 3 games lost 4. And also she has more number of points in favour than BYJ.
