I'd be surprised if he does. LCW is getting old and half a step slower. He can't put on the rapid pace for much longer, and that's what he needs to beat CL and LD.

By the way, it's not surprising that Chen Long is beating LCW easily - it's been obvious for over a year that he's a much better player. Only LD can beat CL at this time.

If kwun is right that Chen Long has risen another level, then CL is probably the only one who can wrest a major title or two from LD this couple of years.

I must say that the Men's Singles is currently in a very weak era. There's really only Chen Long at the moment. LCW and LD are not far from retirement age and are really from another era. I'd even say that this era is the weakest in history. If LCW and LD weren't around (eg. had retired), Chen Long would be winning every tournament at will.

On the other hand, Women's Singles is probably in one of the strongest eras ever. For a long time, I wasn't a big fan of watching Women's Singles, but now I'm paying more attention to it than Men's Singles.

Not much of a "rivalry" though. Z/Z have basically never lost. I think they've only lost formally once, and the other time was a retirement. Z/Z are simply a level above. If you think LD dominates LCW, then I don't know what word to use to describe Z/Z over Ma Jin/Xu Chen.

How can you read the minds of every single person on this forum? I'm sure some "Guests" appreciate my posts hehe. Also, your last two posts haven't exactly been that helpful either hehe.

And surprise surprise. Z/Z wins again. I'm shocked no one comments more on their skewed "rivalry". It must be the most skewed "rivalry" in badminton history between two top "players".

Z/Z aren't even that happy. It's like a formality. Maybe Z/Z have never lost to them in practise too, and it's simply expected that Z/Z wins?

While waiting for WS to start, saw your post.
What he/she post is correct and the stats are there for everyone to see. I agree and I think most people too. That's why I asked him to tell us something new.
