Bae is making errors too. But her face and bearing are calm and confident.
Yamaguchi making good points at time but not able to string any together to build momentum.

    And now a challenge....

Don't forget, Bae YJ beat Intanon at the HK Open in two straight sets, 21-14 and 21-13 last Nov, about two months ago.

Akane, buck up please! Let's not run the risk of Bae winning, WSX beating Nichaon, and having Bae face WSX when WSX has a 10-0 H2H advantage over Bae.

Lovely - Bae will be making it through. Let's hope Nichaon can stop her in her tracks. I saw Bae's match against LXR at the recent Worlds, and Bae was absolutely hopeless against Li.

Against Bae YJ, if you don't have a penetrating attack nor able to outsmart her at rallying, then you're in trouble.

Endo/Hayakawa quite 'brutal' in this MO.
So far they just give their opponents 25 points max.

Right here hehe. Except, wasn't wrong in this thread, as I never said she would definitely win - I said stuff like "probably" or "I think so" etc. Hehe. Still, a quarterfinal appearance at a Premier Superseries is still good points gained in her run to becoming top 10 by year end!

I do wonder who will win the WS match. NJ is a good player and each time se has met WSX it's been a close 3 setter.

What's so unexpected about Yao Xue beating Wang Yihan just now when she had trounced Juliane Schenk at the CHN Open SSP, 21-7 and 21-11, and yesterday booted out Saina Nehwal ?

And what ranking points must she defend at WR25 where last Year's MAS Open was a GPG and as runner-up she earned 5950 ranking points? Here at the MAS Open SSP, had she lost to WYH, she would still have 6050 points.

    I didn't expect Greysia/Nitya lost so tamely to Miyuki/Reika :(

But so far, Greysia/Nitya is quite consistent (at least be Quarterfinalist in many tournaments)

She was runner up MO superseries last year lost to TTY in final.
Malaysia open SS runner up point is 7,800 point.
    :)
