PETALING JAYA: Badminton ace Datuk Lee Chong Wei’s father, Lee Ah Chai has caused a stir again on social media after he posted a photo of him and a woman posing in wedding attire on his Facebook page on Friday.
Social media was abuzz with the news from the father of the country’s top shuttler.
[IMG] A picture uploaded by Lee Ah Chai, father of badminton ace Datuk Lee Chong Wei, on the former's Facebook page.

Many netizens showered Ah Chai with best wishes and congratulatory messages while some teased him for being high profile and even took a few digs at him.

Responding to a post on Kwong Wah Yit Poh’s Facebook page that generated 353 comments , 1,259 shares and about 4,000 likes, Ah Chai also known as Steven Lee said he did not care about what other Facebook users had said of him and that he believed in retribution for those who had badmouthed him.
“Do you know my family matters? If something happens to you and others, who have no idea of what is going on, start saying such things about you, then you will understand (my feelings),” he said.
Regarding comments that he was high profile, Lee said he simply wanted to share the news with his friends on Facebook.
Prior to the posting of the photo from a purported wedding shoot, Ah Chai had also posted another photo which showed him in a tuxedo with a bowtie.

The woman in the purported wedding photo has appeared in several other photos taken with Ah Chai, which he had posted on his Facebook page. On it, his status showed that he was “in a relationship”.

Ah Chai, who has enjoyed the limelight for being Chong Wei’s father, had reportedly divorced Chong Wei’s mother in April last year. He has since lived in his Bukit Mertajam home in Penang alone.
In 2012, Ah Chai made headlines when he was reported to have attempted to jump from a bridge in Penang due to family problems.

No wonder Datuk said he got many personal problems recently

with that recent retiring statement made, it will take off some pressure from now onwards and he will continue to play unless he found another money making machine :D OBT, he will make a bad politician but if he's in, mostly probably they will put him in penang. With his popularity he will be able to kick out those opposition parties and hell will break loose after that. :crying:

BAM maybe wanna consider contracting Steven Lee for his genes to produce another LCW since BAM coaches cannot produce a world class player despite given all those WJC, AJC talents to work with:D
Steven wife looks like a mainland chinese. LYB beware MAS gets the best of both...LCW and LD combination, now not sure if it is left handed or right handed:p

We shouldn't talk about people's personal life. This is after all LCW thread.
If want to talk about Steven Lee, maybe can open a thread for him with the title :
Steven Lee - producing the next WR#1.

Good news for only IMPORT auto, not local Proton thingie:p I don't understand where they drive these supercars in MAS, the roads are narrow, congested, bends here and there, no long stretches of road....maybe it is for show.
