Precisely, and there were so many wonderful rallies, near-impossible retrievals, fast and furious exchanges, entertaining and exciting to watch - on the whole, a first-rate WS match at a level one would expect from players of their caliber. True badminton fans will want to see and judge the match for themselves, rather than content to take others' words for it.

Using the Hawk-Eye instant review system is really such a good thing as otherwise we may have to depend on the 'cock-eye' of some linejudges. With this Hawk-Eye system, the linejudges are being judged as well, indirectly, compelling them to do a better job. Kudos to the Hawk-Eye system.

Fischer Nielsen looks like he's about to pop an artery after every rally, which is kind of refreshing after all these stony Asian expressions. This has been a very good tournament for Europe, which can only be good for the sport. Now let's see whether it will also be a good event for lovebirds.
And players who know they have recourse to the Hawk-Eye system will feel more at ease and assured of fair play. I just hope it is much more widely used but the cost of implementing it is indeed a deciding factor.
