CL's shot-making are too predictable for LCW.

Looks like Chen Long has to relearn how to beat LCW.

LCW is the better player today, outplaying CL.

LCW has got great anticipation of practically all of his opponents', not just CL's, return shots, with the exception of Lin Dan's.

It's back to the drawing board for Chen Long; hopefully, GM Tang XH can give some pointers.

CL recently has taken a kind of break... No real intensity. I beleive the goal now is the Asian games, and the CHN players must peak then. That means they still have one or two months to relax.
at least, that is how I read the situation.

A number of times in this match, LCW was simply waiting at the net knowing how CL is likely to play his return and puts it away - that tells you how much LCW has scrutinized CL's game , reading it so well and anticipating his shots time and time again.

CL has severely regressed in his playing. Defensively and aggressively, he's just like, wow, a completely different player from before. China had better be thankful that Lin Dan hasn't retired yet for I don't see anyone else beating LCW from here on out.
