Eriko Hirose will be in high spirits after seeing off Saina Nehwal.
    Watch out, Han Li :)

Other matches featuring INA players who may progress to QF:
Simon Santoso vs Hsu Jen Hao

Lee So Hee/Shin Seung Chan vs Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polii [8]

and that INA vs INA match in MD featuring Rian Agung Saputro/Angga Pratama and Berry Angriawan/Ricky Karanda Suwardi.

Another pair that may have a decent chance of progressing is Suci Rizki Andini/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah who are facing the CHN pair of Xia Huan/Zhong Qianxin. But as always against CHN WD pair, the odd is probably 45-55.

I don't think Firda can beat Sung Ji Hyun.

That will mean 6 to 7 representatives in the QF tomorrow.

Indeed, the moral of the story is: if you have LXR on the ropes, never let her escape, or she'll suddenly deliver you the knockout blow and gobble you up whole !

For me, it can at times be stressful to watch LXR play, heart-stopping occasionally. I lost count how many times she came back from the brink of defeat and emerged triumphant.

If I have my way, I wouldn't pick LXR to play CHN WS1 in the upcoming Uber Cup.Instead, I would go for either WSX or WYH.

IMHO, the day LXR overcomes her proneness to error will be the day she truly becomes a great player.

A good start for Firda in the second-set. The problem is can she maintain that?

Firda is still leading 13-9 in the second-set. Rubber-set is on the card now.

well, these thrilling matches are truly worth of watching. It's quite boring now to watch LCW's matches in every single tournament unless CL or LD happens to be his opponent.

Rubber-set as Firda takes the second-set 21-18. Good one.

Gideon Fernaldi's XD partner, Rizki Amelia Pradipta, has some odd positions on court when he is receiving serve and even after the first return (usually to the net).
He won't go far with this partner :(

    It was Runner vs Runner.
The one with the longer legs, faster legs and the better reach won the match :D

Sung has an early 5-1 lead in the second-set. Not looking good. Running out of gas perhaps?

Interesting point. I've to hand it to you, and latecomer as well, for having more faith in LXR than I do.

    Eriko Hirose's game is crumbling.
Han Li is having a great run.

K Srikanth is playing well so far, taking out T Ueda and NTM.

Firdasari is a much improved player lately.
