    LIVE TV matches (court 1, 02.00pm) :

    01) Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir (INA) v Liu Cheng/Bao Yixin (CHN)
    02) Li Xuerui (CHN) v Sung Ji Hyun (KOR)
    03) Simon Santoso (INA) v Du Pengyu (CHN)
    04) Christinna Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter Juhl (DEN) v Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi (JPN)
    05) Lee Chong Wei (MAS) v Kidambi Srikanth (IND)

MS, the Indian youngster should take experience from one of current best MS who's on fire to win back to back SS title, Santoso and Du are expected to be tight contest here

WS, can Sung Ji Hyun avoid another all CHN finals? Looks like slim chance

MD, huge upset by Korean new scratch pair Kim SR/Yoo YS to stop front-runner Ahsan/Setiawan, equal chance for four semifinalists to secure final ticket as most of MD matches are unpredictable

WD, Danish first seed is fresher than their opponent Matsutomo/Takahashi who played marathon 91 mins QF match yesterday to eliminate INA Andini/Nuraidah, let's see whether the Japanese pair still has strong stamina to challenge Pedersen/Juhl

XD, INA best hopeful Ahmad/Natsir has bright prospect to storm into last round and most likely Ko SH/Kim HN will be their final opponent

Excellent semis on tv! I only regret Simon and Du are not on tv court.

What LD? This is about Singapore Open. Hot April, cold water, don't mix! :crying: I hope LCW has learnt that lesson from his friend.

Simon had DPY's number with a very polished and controlled performance the last time they met. But then, that was the Indonesia Open, Simon had a point to prove, he was younger, and he was on a roll.

Apart from the "younger" thing and the Istora atmosphere, there is no reason why Simon cannot reprise his performance.

Can K Srikkanth give LCW a decent workout? Hmmmmm.... see above! :D

Can SJH give the Silken Assasin a decent workout? Hmmmm... also see above! :D

Can Han Li surprise WYH? I'd sure love to see it! Han Li is such a smooth and gifted player, I hope she can achieve something extraordinary at this tournament.

Oh, hold on! Where's SanDra??? I see, 2Kim got one back. Good to see 2Kim getting it together ahead of the TC.

But the one match that promises to be a gripper is

It's not 2Kim....it's Kim/Yoo. Seems like Hendra/Ahsan have a phobia against Yoo Yeon Seong?
