Thomas Cup is still a different ball game as CHN MDs are both comparitively weak, so Can they win all 3 singles against good teams? Thats a question that"ll be answered only by time
the tournament is reaching semis tomorrow yet there are 3 more days... does it mean a day break OR the TC and UC finals are held on separate days, i.e. UC final is on Sat and TC final is on Sun.. i guess the latter is correct.
See.... WTF... INDIA vs. JAPAN Uber Cup match tomorrow rule over MAS vs. ... Thomas Cup match tomorrow yet again ... https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...EBA21A-B76C-4D79-97C3-2B68F3CB04A3&d=20140523
Yeah. I think it is not so good for badminton. Of course for many people, we want to watch INA/KOR vs MAS to play instead of IND vs JPN uber teams. However, since IND is the host, they prefer to broadcast the uber cup match.
C'mon dude, be rational... being the HOST is costly! Ofc the host will obtain some kind of priority whereas possible... anywhere...any event!!
Why can BWF sell the right to other countries both court #1 and court #2 simultaneously? Let's the poor souls in MAS and INA have the pleasure to watch the match in Live HD version in their own TVs instead of only court #1 force-fed to them.
Someone had pointed out a month ago in one of an old thread that it's not the hosts who solely decide the lineup. The sponsors, BWF, hosts, etc. make a collective decision.
The poor souls in INA viewing the game on TV will only see court #1 on NET. TV. Otherwise, they probably need to pay to watch elsewhere the Court #2 maybe on MNC TV. I am going to watch it on some spamware laden streaming website in very low quality.
Good question!! I see your point! Why don't BWF arrange live broadcast for both TV courts and let each relevant nation choose which one to air locally.
