Been a long time since any team came back from 0-2 down to win 3-2. For Lin Dan's sake, I hope the tie extends further.

If LD is MS2, there's should be ok but Du PY, don't think he can handle this heavy stress condition.

Well done japan. They fully deserve it. Chinas men have been lagging and it shows big time. They have produced players with reaction skills which are too readable. You cant win with "soldiers" who just rely on opponents mistakes.

Du Pengyu will have to play the game of his life,he's in a situation no one in the CHN squad would ever want to be in. Du Pengyu carries the heaviest responsibility for CHN now.

He is, but Du just doesn't have the weapons to beat him.

Momota is young, he has the momentum, and that burning impetus to deliver the crucial point for his country will give him the win. He knows that 1 more point and the mighty China is out; fat chance it'll be that he'll blow it.

Well, this makes things interesting. I never imagined a Japan vs Malaysia/Indonesia finals.

This wouldn't have happened if Lin Dan were playing MS1. But now things have gotten interesting.

To be frank, while I will always cheer for China to win Men's Singles Gold at the Olympics, it's nice to see a shakeup of the badminton world every now and then. Things are just too stale and predictable if the outcome is always the same for every tournament.

Haha, thanks for the photo, boss! The only photo I saw for the TC semi final today, all I am facing is only figures, figures and figures. :(

Time to prove himself, then. Du must Do the improbable.

Fact is, I'd like both Thomas Cup semifinals and the final to go the distance - regardless of who wins. So we could really see that at any given day, any one of the 4 best teams could have won it .....

DPY is certainly not Dupy today. starting off rather sharp.

to be honest, CL and CB/HW all played without much fire. i know CB/HW is like that, but CL is rare.

other teams will be like vultures now, great opportunity to snatch the TC.
