Whether MAS wins the Thomas Cup tomorrow, this sweet victory over INA in the semifinal to advance to the final is already a great achievement and should give a big boost to MAS badminton. Congratulations , MAS, excellent job.

I just hope MAS fans will be kinder to, and more appreciative of, their own national players. :)

Malaysia should not celebrate just yet Japan should not be underestimated but the kids from the rising sun have not been to the circus. Like Sven Pri said Malaysia is a old champion boxer that still packed a knock out punch. they have surprised stronger foes in 76, 88, then 92 and 2002. Whatever the outcome on Sunday I would still be happy. If Japan wins then Badminton would have a new power nation good for badminton. If Malaysia wins , I would go delirious. It would be good for Malaysia at a crucial time for the unity of her people.

JPN vs MAS, it is touch and go. 50-50.
MS1 - Tago vs LCW - Tago may cause an upset.
    MD1 - JPN too strong
    MS2 - Momota - More stable.
    MD1 - 50-50
    MS3 - JPN's to lose.

Conclusion : We have a new champion.

I think he meant it's JPN's point to lose. Daren's mental strength is terrible and given how he has underperformed so far it is definitely a free win for Sho Sasaki. Malaysia must end it within the first four points, or the Thomas Cup goes to Japan. Japan's task is to make sure Kento wins and steal a point from either one of the men doubles or LCW.

Well JPN is not giving up that easily, though still trailing 1-2.

However JPN is most likely to take WS3 and then .......?
