Hope this will push Japan (Yonex and other companies like Gosen, Kawasaki etc) to make more rackets with new technology as well.

Well done japan! though i really hope for darren to change the tide after the 2nd game. glad that he really fought til the end. The fact is people only remember the winner. Guess it is back to the drawing board for the rest of the world to figure ways to win the next campaign cup.

That's something that INA unfortunately does not have, especially in Singles.

It's time for Team INA to speed up the regeneration process, especially with the younger MS players. There's no pt in keep playing Hayom and Simon. Better to introduce players like Ihsan Maulana Mustofa (who unfortunately didn't even have the chance to play 1 match against Nigeria), Jonathan Christie, and Anthony Ginting early!

As for doubles, Hendra/Ahsan will probably be playing only until the 2016 Rio Olympics. It's urgent for Herry IP to unleash the young and promising double pairs, starting with Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Selvanus Geh! Rian/Angga are just too unstable to be relied upon even as MD2.

There will surely be changes in the MS and MD coaching set-up after the disastrous SF thrashing by Japan. A high possibility Zhang Jun and XXZ could lose even lose their jobs?

Park Joo Bong lifts the Thomas Cup - a mark of respect by the Japanese team to let him do so.

China definitely needs a new MS coach. XXZ hasn't been able to improve any of the MS players. In fact, they seem to be getting worse. Morever, they don't play with the style that the other nations play with. The Japanese players had a clearly gameplan, and are willing to go for the angled smashes. Chinese players play way too slow.

As for MD, they should just get a foreign coach. There's not even a single man in China who can coach MD.

And notice how PJB was on the court for all the matches? LYB used to do that, but why doesn't he do that anymore?

He deserves it. I believe the Japanese team are grateful for his coaching.
