Hmm, I don't know if Tokyo is any cheaper.

But you might be able to find things not usually found where you live.

For example, I had difficulty finding some ankle supports that are comfortable. (Old ones became unusable). Best ones I found were in a Mizuno shop in Tokyo. Now, does that justify another trip to Tokyo to pick up a spare....?

At Japan Open, they should be selling a lot of Yonex branded items.

hard to find cheap stuff in Tokyo, period!

if the Yonex store is still around you should definitely go check it out, they used to (not sure if they still do) give out discount (in the region of 10%) from retail. around the corner is the Yonex HQ which is not accessible but i would consider a must see tourist attraction for badminton fans. :D

hi brother. sorry for taking so much time to reply. I haven't get chance to visit any badminton shop at that time since I was bounded by the activity program. I was only free at night time which I only use to recover and did some free walk. I was only attending first and final day of 2014 Japan Open. At that place, there were some Yonex merchandises displayed.

However, I am planning for my trip to Yonex Japan Open 2016 and not bounded to any badminton activities like before. Hence, I will update here later or create new thread. :D
