I watched the match too and I thought he wasn't very motivated nor serious enough to try to win it. He didn't go all out and he doesn't care of the outcome.

Yup but every other ntion has only the chance of taking one medal while China possibly can take 2.

Agree, but like they say : A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

What's wrong with Chinese players participation in SS till some people don't want any Chinese player to win tomorrow?

I often ask myself the same question. You know, they have tons of reasons. Ask them and they can name it: WSX shouting too much, LD is lazy and have taken away so many things from LCW, CL is a waste of time with his boring style of play, LYB is a cheater and match fixing, Chinese MDs are one hit wonder, Chinese players don't play 100% against Chinese players, WOs, Chinese players are ignorant, Chinese players are boring to watch, an all-Chinese affair is not real badminton, etc. The list goes on and on. But hey, they have their rights to hate as some of us have the rights to love. There are always supporters and people who are not so supporting. Just ignore them.

Looking forward for the MD final, I think Lee/Yoo is slight favourite to win.

So, is TTY ready to begin building a collection of SS titles?

Can Hu Yun finally take a game off LCW?

Will Kakiiwa/Maeda finally reverse the trend against Matsotumo/Takahashi?

Will SanDra finally live up to their billing when they meet their beastie opponents?

Will Fuchs/Michels pull a rabbit out of the hat and stun ZZ?

Against offensive players, I feel that LXR should play a bit more nets and drop shots instead of too many lifts and high clears.

Neck and neck, TTY doing fine playing freely and deceptively.

About 80% of GC's commentaries is on TTY, it seems.

TTY should avoid fast exchanges and stick to her deceptive game.

I think I heard Zhong Bo reminding LXR to watch out for TTY's deceptive strokes.

The drift looks quite variable at times. Sometimes it blows hard and sometimes not

TTY's best chance is to play more front court, imho.

Wow, LXR really slammed the shuttle on the floor at TTY's feet for 5-0
