http://www.insidethegames.biz/sport...r-badminton-world-championships-in-copenhagen Li-Ning to sponsor Badminton World Championships in Copenhagen Wednesday, 25 June 2014 By Duncan Mackay Chinese sports company Li-Ning are to sponsor this year's Badminton World Championships in Copenhagen, it was announced today. It extends further the relationship between the company, founded by Li-Ning, a former gymnast who won a record Olympic medals at Los Angeles 1984, including three gold, and the Badminton World Federation (BWF). Li-Ning already has a four-year sponsorship deal for BWF major events, which was signed last year and is due to run until 2016 and which includes the provision of them to provide shuttlecocks and court mats. In addition to that, Li-Ning has title-sponsored a number of badminton's premier tournaments, including the recent BWF Thomas and Uber Cup Finals in New Delhi. Li-Ning, founded in 1990, also sponsors many of the top stars in badminton, including double Olympic gold medallist and five-time world champion Lin Dan. China's two-time Olympic gold medallist and five-time world champion Lin Dan is one of several top badminton players sponsored by Li-Ning ©Li-Ning "Super Dan" will be hoping to add to his reputation as the world's greatest ever badminton player by winning a sixth title in Copenhagen when this year's World Championships are held at the Ballerup Super Arena between August 25 and 31. "BWF is pleased to welcome our corporate partners, Li-Ning, as title sponsor for another prestigious tournament which will feature the top names in badminton vying for the honour of being world champions," said BWF secretary general Thomas Lund. The draw ceremony for the Li-Ning BWF World Championships is due to be held on August 11 in Kuala Lumpur
How can that article possibly be true if it was officially announced that Lin Dan would NOT be participating at the World Championships?
All we know so far is that his clothing and shoes are obviously Adidas, his grip powder is Yonex, and his racket is an LD.
His clothing are still Li-Ning on court, and the shoes he's using since the Japan Open are actually Yonex......and the powder is in a white and red bottle so surely not Yonex. The sponsorship is still a mystery today I'd say.
Off Court Clothing - Adidas On Court Clothing - Lining Shoes - Adidas Socks - Lining Powder - Yonex earlier and now it is a mystery Racket - LD and it is still a mystery Lindan sponsorship is most rumored and spoken about in recent times and it still remains a mystery as why Lindan still not taking sponsorship from reputed brands
Why is easy to guess... He said himself he wanted to establish a business relationship with his futur sponsor, to be involved in the development of the brand. I would stipulate that LD would not only have his own line of clothes, but have his own brand, in collaboration with a big company
