Amazing. 2008 LD wins by offense and smashing. 2014 LD wins by defense. 2014 is also a Super Dan, the Super Dan of defense.

Congratz LD for clinching another Gold!

His Lining bag was broken and fell to the floor during the interval of the 3rd game.

Lin Dan was quite pissed off with such incident, and then looked into his coach, his eyes told his disappointment ..... :(

From now on, not only do we get to see the many exciting, thrilling battles between Lin Dan and Lee CW,though it's getting fewer as time goes by, we also have the many just as marvellous Lin Dan vs Chen Long matches to look forward to, how fortunate for badminton lovers.

What a treat two days in a row, all thanks to Lin Dan.

    Do you know what?
I just realised Lin Dan is not the first player to complete the "grand slam", but he is also the second.
He now has a complete 2 set of all gold medals!
The only player, the first, the second. Players of future will look to be the third.

This XD gold medal means many more magnitudes for INA pair than the CHN's one!

I sincerely hope for Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir to grab the gold medal in this XD final, for the pair the gold medal may mean a new house for each of them plus lots of cash rewards; while for CHN squad, this gold medal is simply another one (and may eventually just be one among the 200 gold medals).

Needless to say, this gold medal is very valuable for INA squad and Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir as well.

I wish they may win today and become the hero of their nation and reap their precious rewards,... :)

CHN pair took the G1 21-16, and INA pair is trailing 5-7 in G2, 6-7

    G2: INA - CHN 7 - 8, 8 all, 8-9, 8-10, 8-11 towel break

    G2: INA - CHN 8-12, 8-13, 8-14, 9-14, 9-15, 9-16, 9-17, 9-18, 10-19, 11-19, 12-19, 12-20, 13-20, 14-20, 14-21

The match looks like a complete reversal situation of the yesterday's SF between ToLy vs Xu/Ma

Ahmad is the weak point in the final.

    Natsir defense was superb.
