It's not a post on a forum or a video interview, can't quote that, but you're free to believe what you want.

As for the other products he's using, he's not allowed to represent or promote any other brand than Li-Ning in international tournaments, which is why he painted his racket in black.

Looks painful, Lin Dan groaning, no local anaesthesia or even with ? He's required to rest for several days at least.

Hope to see him recover in time for the CHN Open PSS and the following tournaments as well as qualify for the Dubai SSF.

I guess the local anaesthetic can only do so much - he will probably still feel a pressure, and maybe how they pull out that liquid....similar to how you get a very thorough aneasthetisia when they pull your wisdom teeth, but can still feel the pressure and a little (or more :D) pain when the dentist works on them...

often local isn't used for knee effusions as it shouldn't hurt that much, you need 1 puncture for the local vs the 1 puncture for the effusion so there's not much need. :)

While some of us here addressed LXR's failures in 2 WCs together with LCW's failures in some major to their disability to bring out their normal A game in those finals due to the huge pressure as WR#1, just curious if LD had won at least 1 major as WR#1? Anyone have some record for it? Thanks in advance.

    Beijing Olympics Gold Medal.

Actually he was the world number 1, for around 4 years starting early 2005. Of course he won many majors, including world championships. I though if a person remains at number 1 for so long, the value of that title just fades. He has remained there for so long, that he just handed that thing over, which would eventually taken by LCW, and absent LD's regular presence, LCW even bettered LD's record, by being the WR1 for 5 years!

actually LD was world #1 during London Olympics, but the seeding was based on May 2012, so he was only the 2nd seed

Will Li Ning allow it since the CHN team is under its sponsorship as I understand.

But do we know the reason why it seems LD is now a free agent?

I remember from a while ago that just the LD part of the national team sponsorship was in the million. Given that lining isn't in the most stellar of financial situation perhaps they had to let LD go. once that happens, they won't have any more say on the matter any more.

The individual sponsorship contract with Lin Dan is over. Lin Dan wanted to renew for a very long duration (10 years is the number I heard), Li-Ning thought it was too much.
