Scott lost G1 17--21, after he misjudged a high lift at the net from CTC.

Evans is asking the umpire to change the linejudge.

Evans loses the lead and becomes anxious.

I recall Henry saying CTC's training includes running 5 miles before and after every session.

Certainly good for the legs and stamina.

I'm afraid Scott is breaking down now, 8-18, he trails.

looking at his appearance and his surname, I think he is a chinese rather than aborigines of Taiwan.

Chinese nationality or chinese ethnic origin?

Incorrect for the former. Probably correct for the latter.

As far as I understand China and Taiwan belong to one nation but are ruled differently in political sense. It is quite complex to discuss this political issue in this forum.

Yup, hat-trick for Chou TC, he beat Evans in an anti-climax final. Two titles in two consecutive weeks, really interesting to follow his action next in upcoming two SS tourneys.

Well, CHN youngsters showed their talent here, wrapped up 4 titles. WS final should be the match of final day, left-handed He BJ is definitely CHN future player with her trademark cross court drop shot despite she lost three games to her senior compatriot Sun Yu. Another promising teenager is Chen Qingchen, she's really energetic and very quick at the net.

Well, you guys discuss all Chinese stuff, I'm talking about unpredictability ;)

Most tournaments are some kind of predictable, say Denmark open,

Chen Long, MS winner, no surprise, not only the title holder of 2013, also other compatibles were absent.

Li XR, WS winner, no surprise either, no one else could have better chance.

Yu Yang/Wang XL, no surprise, still the best WD

Fu Haifeng / Zhang Nan, a little bit surprise, but they combined had won 2 Olympic golds, and 7 World Championship rings, still no big surprise.

Xu Chen / Ma Jin, the #2 in the world, the best bid after Zhao YL withdrawal.

Back to check this bitburger open, I never thought at the beginning that the finals like these:

Si Wei Zheng / Qingchen Chen bt Alfian Eko Prasetya / Annisa Saufika 21-11 21-13

Yilv Wang / Wen Zhang bt Anders Skaarup Rasmussen / Kim Astrup Sorensen 21-14 21-10

Dongni Ou / Yu Xiaohan bt Ekanerina Bolotova / Evgeniya Kosetskaya 21-15 21-15

To me, every pair is beyond my prediction. Even I thought Chinese probably dominated again, but I thought, for example in WD, the winner would be from the final between Zhong QX/Xia Huan vs Tang YT/Huang YQ

Next time, have to expect those unexpected, and predict those unpredictables.

The important issue is they come from a different training system and differently funded. Different political climates despite the historical connection. Thus, latecomer's comment is rather simplistic and superficial.

Yes, he is as much a Chinese as KIm Jong Un is a Korean. So are LCW, ZBW (this one born in China), ML, Eric Pang, Derek Wong and some INA players. Only difference is they are not competing for PRC.
