That was close! Both players were equal. Recent SK's wins must have skyrocketted his confidence and self belief.

Both Saina and Srikanth won. That's a relief.

One question - given that WYH lost , so if Saina makes it to finals, will she become rank 3?

Her ranking won't rise even if she wins the tournament.

I won't say Vimal kumar is better than National coach PG..it would be disrespect to Mr gopichand..but it seems SN is enjoying their and getting all those pampering and attention.. Which she enjoyed under gopichand 2 years back..We have lots of upcoming players and all those love and care which are important ingredients of coaching is divided.. As GC said SN is India's Darling and when she was not having the limelight all alone at her she might had some mental changes and also never seem as confident as this days..go SN its again a good draw no WSX no WYH and of course no LXR you have to win this one..go go make us proud again
    Vijaya Bhava !!! :)

Any guess for MS winner? I'll go with CL or SWH. SK in tremendous form but not sure he'd clear CL's barrier. CL must be desperate to win.

CL since he wants to bounce back from his early defeat last week, or may be JOJ.

i am sensing a saina nehwal and liu xin semifinal here as well, would be an interesting one to watch if it happens as liu xin would be under less pressure than she was last week. .but saina is getting better and better which is a good sign and as for srikanth, well he has already proved that his last weeks victory was no fluke by reaching the quarter finals. .but i am afraid he must be tired of playing so many three game matches every now and than.

    Indeed he will be..
Must be impatient after the shocking setback in CHN SSP..when he was shown the door my much lower ranked German MZ...
I hope somehow CL to loose before meeting KS..I am very well aware about the probability which is low...
I'll go for WHS he is my fav MS after the Giant Trio
