Chen Long played like a true World Champion throughout this tournament and won it in style. Congratulations, I'm waiting to see you challenge Lin Dan soon for world supremacy.

Never discount this Korean lady. In her quiet way, she systematically dismantle the very talented but inexperienced AY.

Frankly, I like both Tai TY and Sung JH, either one wins is fine for me.

Just unfortunate that LCW can't show up to give CL a fight.

SJH is just 23 although I think TTY is younger at 20.

On balance, TTY shows more aggression and deceit and this may well carry her through.

Both ladies are experienced enough, it's a matter of form and skills as well as fitness.

They, Tai TY and Sung JH, have played each other 10 times already? But I just checked BWF records, it's 8 meetings and the score is 4-4 tied.

Both ladies can be quite inconsistent except that of late Sung is a bit more so and still is while Tai is in fine form the last few months.

Who will make the more unforced errors?

TTY leads with a lucky 10-3 after SJH hits out.

And then 11-3 for TTY at the interval. What a start! says GC.

They played each other twice at the Asian Games this year, in the team as well as individual event.

Sung JH suddenly wakes up and is injecting pace to seize the initiative...

A fantastic rally , so many exchanges that could have been winners either way but won by Sung in the end, 11-16 Sung still behind....

Hearts are pumping harder for both fans and players.

And TTY hit out but recovered with a smash 18-14.
