Although it's 4U, but I hope it will not have low swing weight. 4U AT900 is also not light when swinging it. I hope NR-GZ will be a little lightter than 4U AT900, better around VT60 or VT-IF. But I think I will be disappointed since it can only afford 22lbs, that means it might be very light, like FB.

Hmm.. nice thought but unlikely, specs don't seem to match his other rackets.

Oops this was in response to the NR GZ being LD's racket.

Really poor naming though. Sounds like bad Japlish or that something has been lost in translation. Wasn't there a golf range of products called GranZ before...?

Definitely pass. That's a ridiculous warrantied tension for something that cost that much.

Are you guys sure Yonex NR-GZ tension range 17 to 22 Lbs and available in 4U only?

I can't get any info about the specs of this racket when I "googling" around.

Can attach the link or picture of the specs, anyone?

Don't get shock and surprise, if in future this racket will become Lin Dan's signature racket.
Yonex Nanoray Glanz LD (NRGZ-LD), how does that sound to you?
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will probably have right on this, and just next to Z-Speed I suppose it will have similar spec. Doesn´t feel right to do NanoRay´s headhevy though, and if we are going to buy another Z-SP it will need some one like Lin Dan to convince us that we want it. ;)

But the low tensionrange seems very odd for a modern high-end racket?

If LD he'd still have it done at very high tensions.
The recommended tensions are just for warranty purposes anyway.

    thanks for sharing!
REXIL fiber sounds interesting, maybe the low tension guarantee has to do with the experiment of new material

I am 99.9% convinced that this new racket is targetted towards retired-citizens who enjoy conventional badminton game but also at the same time receiving lots of retirement funding from their previous employer or at least must have lots of saving they have no idea how to spend it.

Here are the hints: 17-22lbs most suitable for most gramps, lightweight 4U only, most expensive racket of all yonex which intended to suck out millions of $$$ out of retirement funding, cool name 'GLANDZ" which sounds similar to '"GRAMPS", only applicable to Nanoray series which is very lovely line for aging players.

Kuddos to Yonex to have thought this strategy! I'll bet this is gonna be an awesome birthday present from grandkids to their grandpas/grandmas.

I know that some of you caught onto this, but for those that haven't, the 'glans' is "a conical vascular body forming the extremity of the penis."

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/glans
Yonex really nailed the naming on this one! :D
