Not sure Okuhara will have much energy left if it goes to a deciding game. She's running a marathon out there
yeah, and i hope the up and coming players don't learn the same from her just like in tennis when it all started with monica seles and now almost all the upcoming players grunts while hitting the shots. God save badminton !!
Hahaha.. I was just about to say that. But good thing is, she manages to smile on the court, even when in difficult situation!
I expecting nothing for Hana just glad i could finally watch her game. So far, not bad at all against Saina
this hana ramadhini is giving some serious fight to saina, though saina leads 11-10 in the first game interval. .ramadhini seems to be a bright prospect for indonesia in future.
I find it interesting Marin doesn't smash cross-court very often, considering its usually a left handed players strongest weapon
Here I was shouting aloud in front of the screen Prannoy win! win! Then my friends thought I was mad. Finally Victor Axelsen won the match over Prannoy 16-21 21-9 21-18. Then my friend said you wasted your time and voice. I said it is okay. Still got another match of Gurusaidutt to watch. After that Xue Song China won over India R. M. V. Gurusaidutt 15-21 21-18 21-13. I shouted aloud again during the match. I shouted Gurusaidutt win! Win! He lost again. Then finally I was left crying in tears as I felt so sad that Indian players lose again. Therefore 2 biggest upsets have been created. 2 Indian men singles lose today. So sad. :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
All my friends are actually very proud of Xue Song because this youngster created lots of upsets by winning over players higher ranked than them. My friend said ranking is not very important during tournaments. It is the skill of the player. I finally understood as I have seen many examples of lower players won over players higher ranked than them. Overall China players have shown lots of improvements. Everyone in the world has seen the proof and results. Even all the junior players from China and backup players can win in tournaments. Congratulations again to China.
I expected more from Xue Song, the more so for a CHN player. So far his victories over Chou TC, P Kashyap and RMV Gurusaidutt are commendable but I'm not carried away. He'll have to emerge champion here to convince me he can be a top 3 player one day.
