Ratchanok should ask Marin how to keep her fitness level, in exchange, maybe let Marin beat her once in a lifetime. :D

The way RI pulls off these cross court winners when she is in this tired condition reminds me of Sun Jun WC final 1997.

It won't be that bad for her if not for the difference in the draw between the two players. And against Marin, she had an energy-sapping longdrawn battle. Partly true, you're right that IR's fitness is a problem as well. We can agree to disagree.

You mean Sun Jun's fitness is also a problem?

When it comes to wit, IR outfoxes Saina.

Another reason could be Ratchanok ankle injury. Sorry to say this match just couldn't make me have any interest to watch it. It is clearly a one sided match. A very tired player playing tough matches before finals and drain out of energy at the finals. Nothing to say.

3 easy matches and one tough semi, that is as easy as it is going to get at the top level of badminton, even if saina had had a harder draw it would not change IR's state.

Marin would have been a tougher opponent for Saina in this final.

Sun Jun had a tremendous battle in the semifinal against Poul Erik Hoyer Larsen. In the final, SunJun suffered cramps and Peter Ramsmussen was crowned World Champion.

Congrats Saina Nehwal, as no 1 player and winning in homeground. Must be feeling good. And congrats for the fans as well. :D For Ratchanok, hopefully she trains harder for her fitness so in the future this kind of match won't happen again.

No problem with me,suit yourself. It's a matter of opinion, no scientific analysis but that's how I see it.

OK, thank you. But Sun Jun generally has no fitness problem unlike Intanon who is somewhat lacking in that aspect.

RI congratulated Saina on her #1 world ranking. Very good sportsmanship!

Intanon's match with Marin yesterday really took a toll on her. She really must work to improve her fitness.

Will BAI give a USD 20k bonus to Saina?

I agree with this too. apart from 2013 WC final and yesterday semi, how many 3-games matches have Intanon won? without stamina, how to get into good position fast, react sharp and stay focus for every point.
