Santoso is through. I hope he could go far and perhaps defend his title. Such an unfortunate talented player. Great to watch

Really looking forward to a Simon vs Sri QF. Indonesia's best player in the post TH era, quality wise. Will be Srikanth's biggest litmus test in 2015.

No surprise. Now it is confirmed Prannoy vs JOJ. If JOJ plays something lik this, prannoy need to give his 100% to beat him.

JOJ will be more alert this time. Though I loved the way Prannoy beat JOJ, I will be surprised if he achieves it again in an away from home setting. JOJ probably hates Prannoy pattern of play, which is difficult to crack for him. Hoping for a good encounter.

At one time, Praneet was India's best player (kashyap didnt use to play nationals as he represented india in international tournaments). Praneet used to beat all of them. Sad to see him not performing like others.

RMV is another talent, who doesnt proceed beyond round of 32 or 16.

Ajay Jayram is going downhill and way past his peak.

I was never a fan of Kashyap. He too is way past his best, i think.

Srikanth and Prannoy are the only real hope for India as far as olympics are concerned... Unless some surprise junior pops up into the scene suddenly.

Ah I have completely forgot about this player until you posted this. Yeah. You are right. He loses easily now in the first round of the tournament. I really wondered what has actually happened to this person. It seems that his performance took a dip after Japan won the Thomas Cup last year 2014. Sigh..

We have too few members from Japan in BC. Some sources explaining Tago's recent distress would be welcomed

Me neither. Anup Sridhar, Abhinn Shyam Gupta and Chetan Anand (former World #6 in 2006 IIRC) never got their proper due in the post-Gopi era IMO. While PK got more than his fair share and yet kept on cribbing and demanding more attention from the fans and the media.

Even last month he claimed what he had been claiming since 2009, that he is going to win SS titles blah, blah, blah.... And that he will take back his #1 ranking from Sri. Would love to watch his words turn into action. All we have got over the past half decade are mostly R2s with the odd QF or SF thrown in.

Try to find some news online about Kenichi Tago recent performance to post it here but found no news at all. However there is a slight outdated news about Kenichi Tago brilliant performance during Thomas Cup 2014.

Then as for Korea performance out of the 13 players who played in the first round of the tournaments, 11 players have won and safely passed the first round to play in the second round tomorrow. Good. :)
