The wider the frame the less angle/slice you can get before you hit the frame. Since the frame is very wide you're more likely to hit the frame when trying acute slices. So it really depends at how much of an angle you slice at

Ok. It's allright, cause I am currently using one that has an even thicker frame, and I;m not experiencing any troubles :)

I'm a big fan of Apacs. What I found is they don't give you like top of the line racket but their rackets are very reasonable priced and quality is more than enough for most players. I start using Apacs Tantrum 300 a few years ago and switch to Virtuoso Performance last year. I started to switch to Blend PRO this year and I found this is the best racket I have tried from Apacs. Blend PRO has a taper shaft. Flex is very similar to Virtuoso Performance. The biggest different is it has a slim frame which it allow you to swing faster. I'm a double player and I do a lot smashing. Also I strung my racket at 27lb. Power is good from this racket. So happy with it. May be I gonna try the Virtuoso PRO later. It said it has a stiffer shaft but it is slimmer too. Anyone is using it?

I am a fan but I got a dilemma for new rackets. I loved my Lethal 60 but I'm looking something lighter around 85gr.
I found Z Vanguard II, N Force and Z Ziggler Force II but I can't choose.

I used to own Z Ziggler, it's light, stiff and heavy head. Very suitable for doubles game. I said used to own coz I sold it off due some injury to my arm that prevent me from fully utilizing the benefit of heavy head frame. Sold if off and using something more balance n lighter.

Hi everyone, I'm looking to get a recommendation from you guys. I had an APACS Nano Pro Fusion 608 but it finally broke =(.

What would be a current racket that's similar to it? I usually play doubles and I loved how easy it is to defend with this racket. So maybe that's more even balance?

Sorry forgot to add, would the Nano fusion speed 722 or 755 be a similar replacement?

Nano Fusion Speed is a 5U racquet, weighing around 78g, and it's a balanced weight I do believe. It's my main go to racquet and I love it. I don't do anything crazy as far as stringing, around 23lbs using Yonex BG65 string, and it plays wonderfully. I know the 755 is heavier and perhaps closer to what you had with the Pro Fusion 608, which I am actually not familiar with. Hopefully someone else with some more APACS knowledge will be more help. :)

I understand that it will not be cheap. I just wanted to take the cheapest of the rocket with such characteristics.

I have also a Z ziggler but I find the shaft too soft. Too much repulsion. I like it stiffer like the Lethal 60. Would the Vanguard II be a good match?
Someone got this racket already and tested???

I'm a fan of Apacs too, it seems cheaper in Vietnam. I already bought 2, use Paypal and international shipping. Check out "votcaulongapacs.wordpress" on google. Ziggler LHI is only $98 there, Edge Saber 10 is amazingly cheap. Hope this will help Apacs fan.

Hi, comparing Blend Pro / AVP (Performance) of which have a quicker swing speed, and still maintaining power?

I'm just getting back to the game, socially (double) and finding I'm challenged to swing my current racquet armortec900Power (HeavyHead/ 3U racquet). maybe is my technique, i can't seem to amplified the power.

So looking for my first Apacs racquet. I'm actually looking for a lighter racquet that is quicker in swing speed. ( Good for defence and precise ) yet. doesn't loose too much of power.
    Asking too much? =p

    Currently,
I deciding between AVP (Performance over Pro) > FeatherWeight300 > BlendPro.

    Cheers.
