I just replace them with generic grommets. No true difference IMO. Maybe feel is a bit harder after getting rid of the shockless grommets but otherwise same old thing.
Not that I know of. I just use the ones from the set I get from RKEP. They're good high quality ones. As good as victor's so I have 0 complaints.
The whole gist of the shockless technology is basically softer grommets at the 3 and 9 position that absorbs some of the shock on impact of the shuttle on your string bed. It has nothing to do with anything in the construction or design of the frame at all. Hence why the top end BS line had the 9 all red or half red and half back grommets at each side.
Oh no.. I have restring a couple of times. And stringer has changed some of the original grommets. No wonder I can't smashed like LYD
Nah, Setiawan has similar smash speeds but he is more effective with variations in angles, pace and placement.
TBH/KKK's , when they are in their prime of course . Next up would definitely be the Koreans , LYD/JJS perhaps ?
I have the BS12 blue since a week and played it a few times. Somehow I have the feeling that it is much heavier as the BS12N. Balance wise they should be the same. Who has the same experience?
i have the same experience with the blue 12 and the 12N. IMO I like the blue one a lot more, because it has a little more weight all around and is a little more flexible. But the 12N its lighter and more stiff.
I haven't weighed the BS12 Blue yet, but my BS12N 3U weighs 83g (original grip removed, isotape and yonex overgrip added)
83g sounds too light! That means without the tape and grip your BS12N would be like 75g? What sort of scale are you using?
