LXR playing properly now, coming back from 5-15 down, to make it 9-15. But is it too little too late?

Big surprise as Ratchanok pulls ahead 18-9. I expected this scoreline, but with LXR ahead!

Well a bit disappointing that the rubber set is so one sided, but glad to see my "ex-favourite player" winning hehe.

Ratchanok takes out a famous win, 21-12 in the rubber set. Congratz to her!

It's not easy to win a big tournament in China against a Chinese favourite and Olympic Gold medalist.

Ratchanok takes it quite easily in the 3rd game. So, In WS, among top 5, all are @ equal level. They can beat among themselves.

Excuses or not, we've to take into account LXR's present condition and tournament situation, it's up to her coaches and LYB to assess her shortfall under the circumstances and work on getting her ready for the Sudirman Cup.

You serious? If so, not surprising it helped her! Setiawan must be the coolest head in the history of badminton.

It's called "the gap is closing/closed". It happens in all of sports, including badminton. LXR isn't the first for this to happen, and she won't be the last.

Ratchanok also beat LXR in the final of world champ'13 in China.

I'm more happy that she has won 2 straight 3-games matches. looks like she really work on improving her stamina.

Yes, I was surprised that she won in that fashion. I was so sure she'd wilt in the 3rd set due to her inferior stamina. Go Ratchanok!

I thought it was Lee Hyun Il or Lee Yong Dae. So it is better to type in the full name next time. :)
