Ya i sure, 4U i not sure, for 3U i know superwave 35 is the stiffest and head heaviest. MX 80 will be 2rd or on par with Z force.
No, SW35 is not as head heavy as VTZF & not as stiff as MX80. MX80 is the stiffest racket in Victor CMIIW, and the stiffness of SW35 would be on par with VTZF but MX80 is stiffer than both of it.
Having tried all 3 rackets I concur that the SW 35 is definitely not as stiff as the MX 80 neither is it as head heavy as the Z Force. But if you really want extra stiff and head heavy in victor's line up of rackets I would suggest you actually take a look at the Artery Tec Ti-99 Classic.
Lol, the point is not being a fan of the racket or not, that is just my opinion and how i felt about all the 3 rackets mentioned from above.
I know it's an old thread but this racket has really been a dilemma for me. Tried and tried adjusting to it, but sw35 never clicked for me (owned it for two years). I'd have to entirely change my swing technique and timing when using sw35. It also felt cumbersome when playing doubles. The one i am using is 3u btw. If there was a 4u, i am 100% sure that would make a whole LOT of difference. Fyi my go to rackets are bs10 and mx80 for doubles and v80 and f9 for singles.
imo, this thingy is a very demanding, if not the most. I own a 3u as well. Even compare to the ATs (700,800of and 900p, all 3u), it was heaviest, head heaviest and stiffest. So, what else.....to expect from it.
Can't agree. Stiffness maybe, didn't hold any AT in my hands since a few years, but could be true. Heavy? MY 3U's are 85 and 86 dry without plastic. I had a few grams heavier AT in the past. Around 90g dry without plastic. Head heavy? My are around 43-44g swing weight wet. My AT was around 47-48g. Maybe we get very different rackets due bad QC, but I think that it's a myth that the SW35 was the extreme stiff stick which was really heavy and head heavy. Can't speak for anything special like KRP. But if you played a FZ TI-550VS you know what demanding is.
I agree with you. SW35 is definitely not the stiffest or head heaviest racquet out there. The wet bp of my two SW35s are 285mm and 295mm (both with towel grip). Nothing compared with the wet bp of my AT700 Limited which is more than 300mm even with an overgrip over the original grip. The most demanding racquet I ever tried was the Carlton Vapour Trail Elite. It felt like a wooden plank instead of a racquet.
SW35 should be even balanced. So your bp of 285mm and 295mm should be correct. I have played with AT700. It was really nice head heavy racket to play with. Lotsa power and the light frame tech compensate for the heavy head somewhat. The E Titanium frame and square shape on the head and short shaft on SW35 (compare to bs10, f9 and v80) was the sticky thing for me. It was difficult to produce the same swing speed as in other rackets due to overall design of sw35.
definately stiffer than all ATs. I have lower 3u at800of and at900p. The sw35 is very close to my at700 in wt. i will recheck its balance against the ATs. For record, shoulder aching the most from this sw35 than anything else in my possession including mx80.

Tbh it can still be found without much searching. The racket generally just doesn't move anymore now because everyone is wise to the fact that the beast is hard to tame.
I have heard many people saying that this was out of stock forever in Europe and the last time I checked (about 2 months ago) this shop did not have it listed.
