Just a reminder to new JS10 users... the sweetspot is 1-2 cm higher than usual. Keep that in mind as you adapt to it over some sessions.

It makes for some wicked smash angles.

It does seem more balanced. SOSA FB website lists it at bp 290mm... whereas the 4U and 5U I've measured are around 300mm..... so look for a few grams of lead weight in the handle...

Okay, if that's the case, probably best to go for a "heavy" 4U. I think Eric has some 86g ones now.

Tbh from thr descriptions of the KRP I suspect it's just the same thing as the normal ones. Just customised to 3U with a weight in the handle as others have said. There's no description on SOSA's page of there being any other difference besides weight.

So are we saying that 3u and 4u does not make a huge difference in bp or weight of the head? If we want to hit heavier then doesn't mean we want a higher bp? Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

BP yes. Head weight I highly doubt so.

By the way, surprised that there are 86g "4U" versions of this racket. Or perhaps Eric weighs them differently?

If Eric weighs them then they have the plastic shrink wraps on the grips - they add 2+g

Although now there's only 1 shrink wrap... so 1.2g

Right, so 86g would be 84g. Makes sense then.

    I do however recall he weighed a 3U MX80 at 85g. This would mean it's actually 83g!

EDIT: Good thing I got the 87g 3U MX80 version - it's turned out to be a great racket for me. Any lighter and I would have disliked it.

I bought 2 MX80 OC(1.Gen) @ 89g (dry with plastic) and 1 MX80 OC(2.Gen) @87g(dry with plastic). Their head weights are all 42g strung so I can't tell any difference which is the lighter one. Swing weight is more important than overall weight to me.

Probably not, unless they are using KRP versions? Or perhaps Victor created 3U versions for Malaysia too? Would be interesting to find out.
