As afterthought. I didn't bother to vote because I was sure BAM would send LCW by hook or by crook.

Likewise. Wonder if CWF as the sacrificial lamb is taking it in stride.

I didn't vote and I don't think alike as you because the poll asked who will not go. Not who will go. Hope your great mind won't be confused. :)

    News on CWF and ZZ:

Chong Wei Feng was asked in response to BAM's decision to field Lee Chong Wei even though Wei Feng is currently the highest ranked player.
"I feel that the decision is unfair and very dissapointed in BAM's decision."
"However, BAM has assured me of future support for me to compete more in the following year in order to fight for a spot in the 2016 Rio Olympic games.
"If I can compete in more international tournaments, then I can get enough points for next year's Olympic games."

In regards to Lee Chong Wei's selection, "Chong Wei carries the bets hope in getting the best results, I hope Chong Wei can play his best. Zulfadlli is still young, so he still has plenty of time to reach his peak."

On Zulfadlli's side, he responded " I am grateful of BAM's trust in me, in choosing me for the world championships this year. I hope Wei Feng is not too dissappointed and continues to fight for better results in the future."

Morten Frost also responded to media saying
"This is an unianimous decision by BAM, and I cannot make an executive decision by myself. But I do agree with allowing a younger player to get some exposure."
"I under stand Wei Feng being excluded will be very disappointing for him, but I believe picking himself up to fight for his chance to qualify for Rio."

So Chong Wei Feng gets more support for an Olympic place as a trade off.

I voted no to Lee Chong Wei assuming BAM wouldn't want to cause further drama to choose the athlete involved in a doping scandal.
I was clearly wrong, but also glad to see LCW chosen for WC2015. Just hope he doesn't get drawn against Chen Long or Lin Dan in the early rounds.

You can always take it up with BWF. Just tell them.

Chong Wei Feng just said on the Malaysian news report that he's going to stay with BAM for at least 1 more year up to Olympics 2016, then may consider playing for a club, similar to HTW/LKW and KKK/TBH.

I wonder if BAM has hit an all time low in terms of their public image.
They just screw up time after time, and they really don't catch a break from the public either.
The Malaysian population also seem highly critical of their every move, which really doesn't help their situation.
BAM really falls under the 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' situation.

Choose LCW, the public say BAM diminishes hard work
Choose ZZ, the others cry racism
If they didn't choose LCW, then public out cries for choosing weaker players.

I don't even know what I would have done if I were BAM.
    They lose in any situation.

I think BAM made so many poor judgements in the past, any slight issue and they get jumped on. But here is truly a dilemma and any decision would have its valid reasons and critics. Like you said, "dammed if you do and dammed if you don't".

If I put myself in ZZ's shoes, I'd find 1) that they are too big for me, and 2) I'm under a lot of pressure to perform at WC because CWF is watching tv at home. It also must be a difficult situation for him.

The whole idea of the ranking is to send in the best from each country. So when in doubt (in this case due to LCW points dropping), BAM could just set up a selection tournament between the three of them. The top two, whatever the ranking is gets to go. So BAM is no longer at fault. The baton has been passed on to the players themselves. The players decide their own fate, cannot blame others, and we get to watch the matches. :)
