Hi Everyone, looking to purchase my first stringing machine for badminton, which one should I get out of these 2? any tips would be appreciated! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00502YGNA/ref=pd_luc_rh_sbs_02_01_t_img_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1 http://www.amazon.com/Gamma-X-2-Ten...p/B0007R8MHE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
I would suggest saving a few more bux and choosing among the 6-pt versions of these machines. Gamma quality is good, spare/upgrade parts are not hard to get. Haven't had any problems with mine so far.
My first machine ever was a 2-pt, regretted it once I learned and was stringing for others. If I had a chance to go back I'd get a 6-pt right off the bat.
Go for a 6 point. IMO with a well adjusted 6-point is hardly possible to break or damage a racket. A 2-point machine is a bit cheaper, but at the beginning you will be slow and make mistakes during stringing, that's alot of stress for your racket without shoulder supports. Average high to high tension is really risky to impossible with a 2 point.
ok thanks for all the suggestions, how about this model? http://www.amazon.com/Gamma-Tennis-Stringing-Machine-Silver/dp/B002N1SMJ0 or does anyone know a site that ships to Canada with good pricing other than Amazon.com
Order it online, ship to the nearest Walmart in the US, go there and pick it up, declare it and pay GST/PST at the border.
