    1) BAM chose LCW as LCW is clearly, definately will be the one (maybe only one) to bring back a medal.
    2) BAM said they selected ZZ to give exposure to young player as in accordance with Morten's new policy of focusing on younger player like what he did for SC, which he selected young singles players(which they will not be required to walk into the court at all, everyone knows this).

conclusion, double standard here. LCW is a young player that needs more exposure? Will ZZ have any chance to bring back a medal for Malaysia? BAM said that CWF has been to WC, so its time to give chance to young player. what about LCW? Has he not been to WC at all? If BAM replace LWC with ZZ, issues will raise about BAM favouring own players and club players will never have a shot at majors. Lose-Lose-Lose-Lose situation. What should BAM do? Boycott WC this year!:D

I agree with the suggestion from most of the members here. Have a selection tournament for all the players in BAM. The best 2players get to go, which i think would be LCW and CWF.

I remembered LCW said that he will just rest and wait for a wild card for WC when he was making a big fuss about LD receiving wild card that year. A man of his word, he really did wait for a wild card. The only problem is that BWF did not even offer the wild card, they even rejected the application of wild card. Poor LCW. Maybe if he really rested for few months and not because of all this drugs misunderstandings issue, BWF will grant him that wild card.

Not really a double standard when the first priority is to field the strongest team. You're taking Morten's directive of exposing younger players in a absolute sense of the world. If he wants to field all his younger players then he'd only able to qualify 1 player under the qualification rules. It's also a given that any sports team is there to win a medal, really that's always their #1 priority. LYB said the same thing about exposing younger Chinese players to bigger tournaments, hence the rise of Sun Yu and recently more tournaments for He Bing Jao. But that doesn't mean they're going to just retire Lin Dan and Chen Long for Xue Song and Tian Hou Wei.

For the selection tournament, all the commentors say that like it's the fairest decision. But that's also unfair to CWF and ZZ. In all reality, LCW will absolutely win, and CWF is more likely to go than ZZ. However, after so many years of BAM insisting on using the rankings to decide, they cannot simply change the paradigm to suit their wants. When LCW regains his higher ranking, then they'll go back to using the ranking system.

It's extraordinary circumstance that calls for an extraordinary decisions.
The most politically favourable to BAM would be LCW excusing himself of the World Championships, and not requiring BAM to make any hard decisions. But in no world would a elite athlete give up a fight for their chance for a large sum of olympic qualification points.

In the end, its CWF and the rest of malaysian players that did not make good use of LCW's absence. They did not perform well when they should without LCW's shadow. They lived in a comfort zone for far too long as LCW always has their backs covered. They really need to step it up and take things in their own hands. How long will LCW be there to cover their backs?

listen to what LCW just said about BAM's decision to drop CWF and put LCW into WC:

"We are just national team players. It is not up to us to make this decision. We just follow what BAM asks us to do..."

Why this looks like something spoken by Chinese players what always uphold their national team's orders which were being criticized by many ppl including LCW... so ironic...

perhaps someone finally know how to appreciate LYB now...

zulfaldi thanked our sport ministers, i hope this is not a sign there is intervantion in BAM?

however i think ZZ has more room to grow the CWF.

posibiliti of zz & cwf to bring back any medal from wc15 less than 1%.

When it's in his favour "yeah all BAM, I have no say"
If it was against his favour "oh BAM so stupid, so dissappointed in BAM"

They say what they want, but only in their favour.
But really, he's right in both cases. Just a really crap situation, and all of them have to make some sacrifices.
