I would argue that Qiu Zihan is more of the muscular type, kinda like a JJS, except a bigger frame. He's not slow around the court either =p.

Second CHN MD in semifinal, Liu XL/Qiu ZH after they defeated Koo/Tan, 21-11 / 21-19. Three Chinese MD pairs in last four, 1 final ticket has been guaranteed from bottom half of draw.

Yeah, it's rare to happen when China dominates MD department.

Well, MAS should have won the second set, but they lost to their nerves.
In comparison to the other matches before this was a little concerning and everyone will still wonder whether they are ready to work for the points and able to rally if necessary. Only great defense won´t win...

This tournament is dominated by CHN in the MD so far, but I'm convinced this a definite trend... The draw wasn't bad for them.
But it will be interesting to follow Lu/Liu, they could be dangerous. And ofc Fu/Zhang.

As expected, this MAS pair is good until quarter finals or earlier and on rare occasion semi-finals That is why BAM want to split them. Hmm .. guess nothing changes...
That strengthen the decision made by BAM.

Yeah, WSX not only looks beautiful, the way she played a controlled game is delightful to watch, like she is the female version of Lee Hyun-il.
