    I'd say,
    1) her increased mental strength;
    2) her hunger to win and determination not to miss out on the Olympic spots again;
    3) her improved shotmaking ability and quality;
    4) her attempts to smash a bit more and doing it somewhat better than before which sometimes catches her opponents by surprise;
    5) her usual speed and fitness.

    That's really entertaining match, I thought Saina would won when she led 15-10 at decider then Shixian got momentum at mid of game 3, her cross court net shot at the end of match was superb.

    Indeed, IMO Ginting is better than Christie, he's fast and has good court coverage. Momota took game 2, 21-16 and forced rubber.
