CHN needs LXR to be in top notch form in WC.But everytime i see her play,i am thoughtless not sure what to remark.
WHY lost. CHN WS are neither technically nor physically superior to those of other nations. It's gonna be an exciting final between Yui Hashimoto and Ratchanok Intanon tomorrow.
Wang Yihan lost so sad. :crying: This is my feeling now. Heart broken too. My favourite fan has lost. Try harder to win next time. Anyway congratulations to Yui Hashimoto. She really played very well. So sad to see Wang Yihan lost after leading game 2 at 21-9.
WYH's yoyo form is seriously concerning. Chen Jin, you also need to do some mental training for WYH and LXR, don't just concentrate on developing their technical abilities, in my most humble opinion.
Feel sad that WYH lost in tight contest, after fighting vigorously in G3. Congrats to Hashimoto. It's a down time for CHN WS squad at the moment, next time better again My faith remains unshaken!!

until someone surpass him in the number of majors won, yes, he is still considered the best of all time.
WYH might force her self too much to win in G2 with such a score...unnecessary indeed. Winning the match is the sole objective than winning with huge score in any game (except the last game)...went out, not watching the G1 & G2 just saw the scores.
Dare you to go complaining with the BWF that both the CHN & KOR squad just threw away the matches today I wanna see under which rule one can do the verdict!
After failing to grab two WC when she was clearly the best player in the world, LXR has a phobia of choking at the majors. I think she tends to over-analyze, think too much, instead of focusing on playing every shot right and winning point by point, she keeps thinking of winning or losing the match and becomes nervous, resulting in stiff hands and a confused mind. To be honest, I am not sure if LXR can even advance to the final, let alone win it this coming WC. Much less to say about WYH and WSX though the latter appears to be the most in-form player of the three at the moment - sadly, all three are vulnerable, more than they have ever been since 2012/13. Still life is unpredictable, who knows one of these three might prove me wrong just as I didn't expect at all LXR to flop twice in a row, esp after watching how she stamped her authority on everyone en route to the finals. Looks to me, this year's WS WC is thrown wide open, we might get a new WC as I felt both Marin, the reigning WC, and Intanon, the former WC, are not clear favourites, in the running as one of the several contenders, yes, but still not quite convincing as frontrunners. As a side note, like you, I too find tennis boring as compared with badminton, definitely so by much.
He he it's still rather far away, but I predict the WS winner of coming WC will be either one of following short list (think the list can even be shortened further): - Carolina Marin - Saina Nehwal - Ratchanok Intanon - Yui Hashimoto - Sung Ji Hyun - Akane Yamaguchi - P. V. Sindhu - Bae Yeon Ju - Tai Tzu Ying - Li Xuerui - Wang Shixian - Wang Yihan Listed in arbitrary order
My faith in CHN WS is shaken though WSX helped me regain some of it the way she played these two tournaments but far from enough.
Intanon lost to none other than Yui Hashimoto only last week, in R1 of the AUS Open. Let's see if she can avenge herself tomorrow.
Count out Yui Hashimoto and Akane Yamaguchi, they are both not playing in the WC - for JPN, their reps are Nozomi Okuhara and Mitani Minatsu who replaced the withdrawn Akane (as she wished to compete at the Japan Inter-High School Championships).
