It depends on how colors affect your mind and play.

Sorry guys for misunderstanding . It's just JP is really no different from others except for collectible purposes. All higher end yonex rackets are made in Japan.

It costs less than the original VTZF2 on MBS. Pretty good deal if you have an American bank account lol Very very good deal.

I saw it on MBS today, and it's cheaper than both the original and LCW edition. SP version only US$172.

Received mines today, so I took the opportunity to measure them and my other VTZF2 (all 4UG5). All of them still had plastic wrap.

Here are the measures:

Racket
Weight
Balance
Swing Weight

VTZF2
85.5g
307mm
87 kg*cm²

VTZF2
85.5g
306mm
88 kg*cm²

VTZF2 LD
83.5g
310mm
88 kg*cm²

VTZF2 LD
84.5g
310mm
88 kg*cm²

VTZF2 LD
85.0g
309mm
88 kg*cm²

Balance is somewhat higher on the LD rackets, but swing weight is pretty much the same across the board. My guess is that the difference is within the tolerance between different batches and I think the LD is just a repaint and not an intentionally different racket.

Thanks for the information Yan. Interesting if the LD is only a repaint. I had heard things about a slightly different shaped head. Do the heads look the same to you?

I just measured horizontally and vertically and the measures are exactly the same for both rackets.

That's what I suspected too. One could get the same specs by asking eg. Eric for the highest balance point black ZFII he has etc.

The thing with different specs between regular vs LD is just nonsence. If Yonex did the LD edition with another spec and still called it Voltric Z Force II, that would almost be elegal and fals advert promotion... and also very stupid to not take utilize and launch a complete new name like "Voltric Lin Dan" or maybe "Voltric Legend"

I got 2 zf2 4ug5... just got a zf2ld 4ug5

Feel that ld edition is more heavy head...

Not convinced.. therefore i get a vernier caliper to measure. Not suprisingly, the 12o'clock of ld is thicker..

Maybe ld edition is closer to lcw edition.. too bad lcw edition is only 3ug5 in my country..

Sorry, this is simply untrue. Vernier caliper reads exactly the same for width and thickness at the 12 o'clock position.

This is all quite ridiculous. There will be random variations within the manufacturing process that will create tiny differences within each racket. However whether it is than LCW, LD or just the regular Z-Force II, each racket is designed to play, feel and measure the exact same as each other. All this talk about the LD edition being heavier or more head heavy is probably physiological, in the case of just the feel, or just manufacturing differences that make each racket a little bit different.

Yes you're right, what's wrong with those rumors around which says that it's completely different maybe caused by slight weight or bp difference between each piece but 90% of the time it's because of psychological effect.

A : Oh! LD is using ZF2LD instead of the normal ones now, it should be head heavier I guess.

...passing on

B : My friend A says that the LD version of the zf2 is more head heavier!
C : oh really? That's cool! Maybe it's a completely different racket?
...C checking on sunriseclick.com...
C: yea indeed it's a different racket, it states flexible here and the normal ones are stiff!

C: hey guys, do you know that zf2ld is a completely different racket compared to the normal ones? Wow, LD must be very important to yonex.

D : says something ********. Passed on.
E...F...G........Z
That's how it goes on.
